PRIMARY ONE (P1) REGISTRATION EXERCISE
P1 Registration Exercise (P1 Ex) details will be announced at later date. For more information, please visit https://www.moe.gov.sg/primary/p1-registration.
1. Registration Phases and Procedures
For more details on registration phases and procedures, please visit https://www.moe.gov.sg/primary/p1-registration/registration-phases-key-dates .
2. Non-Tamil Indian Languages (NTIL) Classes from 2019
Non-Tamil Indian students are allowed to offer an approved non-Tamil Indian Language (i.e. Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Panjabi or Urdu) in lieu of an official Mother Tongue Language (MTL). Application is to be submitted through the school for MOE’s approval. NTIL lessons are conducted by the NTIL community groups on Saturday mornings at designated schools. This is the link to access BTTSAL’s website (http://www.bttsal.com/index.php). All NTIL students should attend lessons at these centres as they are able to support the critical mass of NTIL learners needed to establish a richer environment for language learning.
Please note that South View Primary School will not be offering NTIL classes for the 2019 P1 cohort onwards. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the school.
3. Application for 40 Hours Parent Volunteer (PV) scheme
The application period for Parent Volunteer Scheme 2025 is now open for
children born between 2 Jan 2020 and 1 Jan 2021 (both dates inclusive)
till 30 Apr 2025 (1 pm).
Please note that applications submitted without a clear proposal will
not be considered and appeals for late submission after closing will not be entertained.
This scheme provides eligibility to register at South View Primary School
under Phase 2B of the P1 Registration Exercise. While completion of the
scheme qualifies you for Phase 2B registration, please note that it does
NOT guarantee a place in the school.
Please read through the requirements carefully and click on the link in
